Hello,

for Dynamic Clothing to work in Daz 3 Ad   do I have to purchase
        special clothing for  V4 M4 etc ?
Or can I use any clothing that I have?

         Thanks

Unfortunately you have to buy clothes made for Daz, Poser stuff won't work.

Thanks 3Anson,

Now I dont suppose there are any freebies out there !!!  LOL

To be absolutely clear, DAZ Studio dynamics are completely different from Poser dynamics.   Studio uses an adapted (and licensed) system from a clothing industry company (Opti-something).  Poser uses a more traditional (at least to CGI) softbody collision detection system.

***jestmart thanks,

yes I think i understand now, but it now seems i must start buying Daz dynamic cloths for those fugures i wish to use the Dynamic function for,in my case  "animation" to stop poke through!

Looks like another overdraft.  LOL !!

If it's mainly poke-through and making the body parts of the original figure invisible does not work, I would try to fix it in an external editor ( I use Silo for this, but Wings should be fine too). But to do this when the figures are posed you would need Morph Loader Pro, which is a part of the Advanced Setup Tools.

Hi Bantha and thanks,

As yet have not attempted animation, on a large scale but I know that
poke through is an issue and one I know very little about other than making
body parts invisable and scaling.
Looking at the Dynamic Clothing function within Daz 3 Advanched I  thought
this could get me some realistic results. But it seems I have to have a new wardrobe for those I wish to animate.
I have recently purchased Animate Plus which will make animation a lot easier.....
What sort of a job would it be to do an edit with Wings ?
Thanks for your interest
