Subject: Downloading purchased items

Hello I just bought the windy wizard robes for M4 and it says that it's paid for and everything but I don't know how to download it. It just says download pending. Why can't i download it right away?

nruddock ( ) posted Sat, 26 December 2009 at 6:52 AM

Where did you buy it from ?

If you bought it from here and it's your first purchase then you need to complete "First Time Buyer" verification.
Your best bet would be to ask in the -> MarketPlace Customer Support forum.

If you bought it elsewhere, then something similar may apply, or if you used PayPal, it could be a glitch with that.

Quote - how do i do the first time buyer verification?

I think you get sent an email, ask in the -> MarketPlace Customer Support forum as the staff monitor that.
Bear in mind that given that it's a holiday period, you may have to wait a while for an answer.

ahh well that sucks

Ok now i'm getting pissed. I was finally able to download the Windy Wizard robe for M4 and when i go on daz studio 3 to try it out it won't work at all. i tried the 1 of 2 download and nothing in that download opens in daz. Then i tried the 2 of 2 download just incase and it opens up like an object that doesn't move or do anything at all. It has no texture on it and it was super super tiny. What the heck is going on I bought this thing thinking that it will work perfectly with no problems because it was on this site and had to be bought. How do i fix this cause now i'm getting mad at this DAZ studio 3 program?

RHaseltine ( ) posted Sat, 26 December 2009 at 1:59 PM

Well, you should almost certainly have unzipped both files to the main (or alternative, if you have one set that you wish to use) Poser content directory, which by default would be something like DAZStudio 3Content in your documents folder, then if you are viewing the Content palette in category mode you'd have to do a search or if you are using folder view you can just go to the folder listed for the figure; double-click the cr2 icon to load the robe.

same here, first time customer and i understand the time needed for verification , but 12 hours, come on. Please can somebody guide me to how i move on with this download. Thnx.

maximbesters ( ) posted Tue, 07 November 2017 at 1:29 PM

hmmm. first time download: how do I install the zipped files in DAZ 3d? (no install info?... hmmmm... getting annoying)

RHaseltine ( ) posted Tue, 07 November 2017 at 3:14 PM

Mac or Windows? What content is it (most items are fairly tolerant about which content directory they go in but a few items will have extra requirements)?

maximbesters ( ) posted Tue, 07 November 2017 at 7:15 PM

windows 10: I bought:Samira Bob Hair for Victoria 4 and Genesis 3 Females OOT_SamiraHair_DazStudio_Genesis3Female_01of02_193194.zip OOT_SamiraHair_DazStudio_Genesis3Female_02of02_193195.zip OOT_SamiraHair_Poser_Victoria4_01of02_193196.zip OOT_SamiraHair_Poser_Victoria4_02of02_193197.zip OOT_SamiraHair_Templates_193198.zip

and i'm using DAZ3D 4.10 pro.

I tried extracting al the zips into my C:UsersmaximDocumentsDAZ 3DStudioMy Library

nothing worked so far,

also tried to extract in:

C:UsersmaximDocumentsDAZ 3DStudioMy Daz Connect Librarydata

also without result.... ther must be some decent way to import a zip or?

thnks in advance...

RHaseltine ( ) posted Wed, 08 November 2017 at 2:47 PM

My Library would probably be the correct location if and only if the zip has no extra folders - open the zip and look to see which the first folder is, my guess is you will see a Content or My Library folder in there. If there are extra folders before you get to the Data and Runtime and so on folders then you need to take the contents of those and merge them into the My Library folder.

I purchased several products and the funds have been taken from my bank account, but I see no way to download what I bought. There doesn't seem to be any link to download can anyone help? No one answers the phone at Renderosity.

RHaseltine ( ) posted Fri, 22 December 2017 at 3:25 PM

You might want to post in https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?forum_id=12374

Renderosity does require a clearance period on first orders.

jyn3630 ( ) posted Thu, 11 January 2018 at 9:00 AM

Thanks for your order (113128732) on Renderosity.com.

I want download ....I am in a hurry now.

zpmovies ( ) posted Wed, 28 March 2018 at 9:55 AM

Hi RH, I'm also waiting. When should I expect to hear about my order (timeframe)? Ordered about 15 hrs ago. Thanks

RHaseltine ( ) posted Wed, 28 March 2018 at 9:58 AM

I don't know how long it typically takes, though you might bear in mind that there was a discount coupon expiring last night which probably bumped up the order volume and so might have added to the delay.

zpmovies ( ) posted Wed, 28 March 2018 at 3:32 PM

That's right! And, I was happy to have the discount. So, I just need to be patient. Thanks for the response.

There's a sticky in the Marketplace Customer Support forum explaining how to install Rendo purchased content into Daz.

Shanzie ( ) posted Mon, 28 May 2018 at 3:14 PM

I've downloaded from here before so I'm NOT a first time customer. And I cannot for the life of me find a download button for my purchases, and I recall having a similar situation last time. That's enough for me. Any online store that makes customers wait or unable to download their purchases easily - after taking our money - doesn't deserve the business.

Deacon215 ( ) posted Mon, 28 May 2018 at 3:32 PM

Rendo doesn't have download buttons. In the upper right corner you should see a little box with "Hi, Shanzie" in it. Click that, and you'll get a dropdown. Select "Accounts" and you'll get a list of all your orders. Click the order number and you'll see a list of files for each product in that order. Click the filename, and that file should start downloading.

Shanzie ( ) posted Mon, 28 May 2018 at 6:26 PM

Thank you Deacon. My response was unnecessarily churlish and petty, aologies all. But I do think renderosity should really make it clear where you click to download. It's quite hidden beneath the product name (which just takes you to the product page). It seems others have had the same problem.

Aeltari ( ) posted Sat, 01 December 2018 at 9:16 PM

I just purchased something, Ive been a customer for a long time. I realized that when it didnt give me the d/l immediately like it used to that maybe i messed up wiht my paypal. I didnt check off the "use paypal balance" and Im wondering if the system is trying to hit my empty bank or credit cards. How do I cancel this order...or find out if there is a payment problem? I actually needed this item to do a gift for someone for tomorrow which is a few hours away. Help! Im scared if I try it again I'll get the same issue, and it wont be due to my paypal issue but something else and I cant afford to use up what I've left to buy the same thing twice.

I would suggest creating a new post here. It is unlikely that any admins will see your post here.
