Consider this my b-day present, okay? :) Thaaaaaaaaaank you..... a3-ro2.gif PS- And please dont try to get all philosophical when reading and answering, huh? ;)

How often will you ask this question again ??? sorry to say that - but people do read posts ... so why are you repeating that question now the 3rd day the 3rd time ?? There are so many ressources here arround the net - it will probably get ages for a newbie to go through it (just type Poser, free, download in google and you'll see ... or go to www.3dmodelworld.com and browse through the Poser-link-section ... and if you want to spend money go to DAZ and simply buy the model you find beautifull or subscribe to Poserworld (that's really worth it - but that's only my opinion) ... The question if somebody's best is simply a bad question - it depends on your personal preferences ... - don't understand this ?? - Example: You're asking for textures: Rena Syyd Anton Kisiel Tim Laubach ... (sorry I forgot definately a lot) all of them are more than good - but they have different styles ... to say Rena is the best is simply wrong as well anyone other is best - the truth is: They are all outstanding :o) or clothes: Steve Shanks Sergemarck Jim West (Ghastley) or even the people around ISOP smae goes for morphs, props, poses, ... Just go to their sites and LOOK

stays calm and holds back obscene comments I wanted those different styles. If I didnt I wouldnt ask the question. Im also glad you read the PS. I put REPOST in the subject for a reason. Its so you wouldnt come back to hassle me. I also did it so that any who didnt see the msg had a chance to answer, and not out of desperation. Give it a rest, huh? a3-ro3.gif

Shlabber, your post wasn't necessary, in my opinion. Amp is trying to make an informed shopping decision and he's simply asking for everyone's input. It wasn't necessary for you to slam him like that. I'm new to Poser and I hadn't seen his thread the first time around, so the re-post helped me - this newbie who needs to also consider shopping. It's a post like yours that makes a newbie afraid to speak up.

Hey hey - it was not mean harsh - it is just like this ... I read it 3 times in 3 days ... so I doubted I have to read it tomorrow again :o). In my opinion you should people get time to answere - so maybe ask again in one week or so ... Such questions are normally in the section C&D (complain and debate). And please don't ask with who is the best ... I won't give an answere to this (because a lot of people here would cut their heart out to help people and try to make stuff available - they give their best then) Of course it's good you asked for what it worth to buy - and I really like this ... but the form is - well - a little bit unlucky - maybe like: I want to buy something - what do you think is a "must" ?? Artist are sensible - you must know (lol) - I hope you got that point, or let me explain it in another way: What would you answere if someone tells you Brittney Spears is the best ?? - or their is no other good artist then Pablo Picasso ?? I don't want to make people afraid to speak up - if it comes over like that: Oh, sorry - wasn't meant so - please excuse me - I'm not a native english speaker - so words may come a little bit direct from me ... I try my best to help people here if they have questions but I'm also saying what I'm thinking - that's (and yes maybe those poses I made) why some people here like me ... or hate me. And hey - we're able to speak - right ?? Sometimes words don't come right as they were meant ... If you want - just send me a mail at schlabber@yourwap.com ;o)

I thought that I was the only one irritated by this obsession with "BEST". Best is about competition, not quality. Something can be crap, and still be the "best" crap. Learn to ask for what you should really mean. Ask for excellence. Ask for state of the art. Ask for inspired work. There is room at the top for more than one in each category. Merely asking for the "best" is lazy thinking.

Best, quality, superb, inspirational - that doesn't matter. The gist of Amp's original post was to get an opinion from other artist's on what they preferred working with so that he could use that information to make his purchase decisions. After all, Renderosity is a community of artists who are here to pool their knowledge of resources. The fact that you are jumping on him for his semantics is just plain silly. Instead of worrying about whether or not he's trying to instigate a competition between artist's, why not give him the benefit of your expertise in the field. Now, since I am at fault for adding to the perpetuation of this thread, I'll say no more on the matter. Apologies in advance for offending anyone - just speaking my mind.

sihn - as you might have read I've done this (give some advice) - did you ever visit www.3dmodelworld.com - there is finally nothing to add to lannies list of links ?? and as you've surely read I was not complaining about his or hers gist - it was just the form ... but that was allready discussed ... :o) so - but now enough to this ... I've to finish my CD I'm working on and about 500 poses are left for the total summary of 5000.
