After a long estrangement I have a friend who's finally made contact with his sister who  was given up for adoption before he was born. I would like to create a print to give to him, as a gift for his sister, but I've a small tiny problem.

I need an Owl. Preferably one wich is not poseable, and will accept a metal texture. IE: To make a Golden Owl prop in the scene.

So here's the "help part" lol.

Anyone know where a basic Owl, say like one in .obj format,  like this can be found.

No money right now, so I can't buy one so it needs to be a freebie.

There is one here in the freestuff but it's on a stump, and I need one I can sit on a Roman pillar.

Thanks I hope someone will be able to give me some assistance in finding such a prop.

can you make the stump invisible in your program?  you didn't say what program you were using.

annie beat me to it Brian...that would be the simplest solution..you use Poser and Max IIRC and they both are capable of that.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Ah ok so the stump is a seperate material zone! Haven't downloaded it so I didn't know/realize that, and infact didn't even think to do that. Oh goodie and cool! Now I can get this project underway. Thanks Guys! It means alot
