Subject: Poser 8 library error

Hi All,

Had to re install P8 onto my new vista laptop. I followed BB's fix for no lib in view. Now i get this were the lib should be in GUI.

Any help

You re-installed P8. Did you update to SR2.1? Just making sure - no point in debugging an earlier release.

Now - the fault you get indicates that the very first message (appConfig) between the GUI and Poser is failing.

Likely causes have to do with firewalls.

Less likely causes have to do with wrong Flash version installed.

Honestly, I've given up knowing all the reasons this happens. After you make sure all software is up to date, if you still need help, get it from SM.

They have a catalog of all the things people do/have wrong on their systems. I don't.

In particular, ratscloset knows everything!!!


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Simple when someone points you in the right direction. Poser.exe was being blocked.
