Subject: Free Characters V4.2?

Minilover ( ) posted Sat, 19 December 2009 at 10:48 PM · edited Sat, 10 August 2024 at 1:32 AM

Are there any free characters for V4.2 that don't requir morphs ++  I am only running the basic daz3 and would really like to have a skin texture with genitalia for some of the cloths I'v downloaded.

Textures will work regardless - it's only the shape that will need Morphs++.

Thanks I'll give it a try as soon as I can find some textures or characters for V4.2

Great to know, but what if the free 'morphs/characters' say 'textures not included' which is most of them?

I can't afford Morphs++ right now. And V4 looks awful, though M4 looks as if he HAS some texture that is applied right when I click on him. Is there something I am not doing right?

And I want her more realisticly caucasion rather than with that awful tan.

How do I make my own texture? Free textures? Nude with genitalia for both M4 V4 ? Links would be useful as I've googled and nothing.

:-)

I did find two texture sets that work great. I'll try to remember where I downloaded them and get back to you.

Yes but how do you do texturing in DAZ? I for one would also like to know....

I could be smart-alecky and say that DAZ have texturing tools, but since you mean Studio no - you can generate procedural materials in the Advanced version of DS 3, you can combine textures and masks in the Layered Imaged Editor (a commercial plugin) or you can paint new textures in any image editor and load them through the Surfaces palette in any version of DS.

I did find a few characters through Pretty 3D that work very well in DAZ  the textures and colors are beutifull  and best of all there free.

Some of older characters from DAZ  home website will work without the V4.2 morphs  But to get the most out of  charaters you are buting you need the morphs to get the face and body shape

A good way to save cash is go ahead and buy the morph package from DAZ (go ahead and get the Michael ++ morphs too) and then get free characters from shareCG   the free charaters there do work very well

Also  Apollo Maximus is free along with the face and body morphs and if you have alot of time on your hands you can morph Apollo into Apollonia
