 Helle, I agree with Kim: It's a wonderful pick for a DITI! A lovely architecture shot. Fine perspective shot too. (We have nothing like those bldgs in Chicago.)

And Kim: Love your oil version! You're very fine with filters & you created really nice paint & shade effects. And the flowers really do look like oil.

Well, you inspired me:
So, to continue the 2D theme, I used PS's "cross hatch" filter. Unfortunately, the cross hatch filter is pretty lame, soooooo (I hope the mods don't mind), I printed Helle's & made a 'real' cross-hatch---ie, w/ ink---& post it for comparison. I hope I didn't break a rule---it's only a sketch! Also, I did it quickly, so it's pretty clumsy...

Hope this was ok to do...

  (only the main building...it's a kind of 'hairy' render, but I did it quickly)

OHH MYYY !!! It is wonderful Mark.. And I just love it, as I use to love your ink art alot. I hope Koosie will see this too. He will adore it like I do. I couldnt resist on downloading it.
You used a print of my photo, so I think it must be fine to do it like this.

Yeah i think it stopped here, but that doesnt mean we cant take it up again..I havent seen new ebots. ?

Real quick effort to attempt changing things a little ,
Must say I really like anahata.c Rendering & BentChick's Flower's

Photoshop keep's crashing when I try to add text , Will have to take that up with technical support or re-install , Peace & Blessings to all!
