I keep getting kicked out of Poser when rending it says I need to to change my adapation threshold and change bucket size -- I went to  this tab to change things and now nothing renders -- I can only render using Poser 4 -- what are the default rendings for this tab setting in Poser 7 -- what settings in this tab can I change to have this render better for larger pictures of lots of objects and characters

Have you tried checking on the 'Separate Process' in the Render Process?  That may solve your problem.

adaption default is 0.375 and memory limit is 32 (you can get all defaults by picking launch to factory state on first page of general prefs).

the "number of threads" would be the number of cores/threads you have on CPU.

IIRC, P7's bucket size default is 64.  I could be wrong, and if I am, I apologize for my error.  I am currently not at my home computer to verify.

I'm not sure, the default bucket may be determined by users system memory.

In any case, if you check adaptive bucket size, it will size down when hits threshhold, although you don't see any change in number.
