As far as I know this feature has always been available, I learnt about it when I printed off a heap of tips and tricks for Bryce 5 from a website called BSolutions dont know if this site still exist as it was a few years ago. I will check it out and post a link if its still there.

Rosie, 'easter-eggs' refer to undocumented features in software applications. There are some funny ones about if you know where to look. I did hear tell of a MicroSoft one that featured photos of the programmer's children. In Bryce they are usually just key-strokes that make things happen that are not generally known.

Yeah, thanks very much Peedy, I've known about Easter eggs for... ooh almost as long as I've been using Bryce, but some of those in that link are new to me.

I searched the forums and couldn't find it, so I am posting it here in the hopes others will find it when they are looking for the answer. In Bryce, to turn off anti-alias on an object before you render it, click the A (Attributes) of the object, then hold down cntrl + Shift and click the check to close the attributes window of the object, then when you render it, that object will not be anti-aliased.
Handy feature when you want a bit of a rough edge on certain objects in a render, especially nice with terrains sometimes.
The ball on the right has anti-alias shut off.
