the changing without conforming them sounds like a case of crosstalk. You can try loading a different figure in between the two , and see if that stops the crosstalk. that is load v4.2 , load any other figure NOT V4.2, then load the trunks. The extra figure can be moved off camera , or made invisible.
try a pm to the vendor, they usually like to know of problems.
@marschum: I took a look at the product and readme, Billy-t absolutely invested the time to make the trunks auto-conform to the figure using the built-in standard Morph++ package for V4. There might be a communication issue with the vendor, he is not fluent in English. The big question: is there a way to simply turn off auto-conforming manually and make it accept custom morphs? The only thing I can imagine, resaving it back into the library. That procedure seems to work for breaking super-conforming on MindVision's products.
Thanks you all for your suggestions. After thinking about it for a few days the answer came to me and it is remarkable simple.
The boxing trunks are designed to adjust to changes in the model it is near, so rather than following my normal process of shaping the model, then adding clothing, I add the boxing trunks first (no need to conform), then adjust V4's physique to my liking.
Voila!!
The trunks adjust as I change the model, maintaining their shape relative to V4's . Once I get V4's figure the way I like the trunks fit perfectly, regardless of how curvy I make V4's waist and hips.
Whoo-hooo!

I'm using Poser 6 for Mac and am having trouble controlling the shape of the Billy-T boxing trunks (see URL at bottom). They seem to adjust themselves to the part of the model they're physically near. Without conforming the trunks to V4, they change shape as I change the model's shape.
The trunks fit fine as long as V4 isn't altered too far beyond its default settings. When I try to put the trunks on a curvier body shape it's impossible to control the shape of the trunks. When I reduce the size of the model's hips or rear to be inside the trunks, the trunks change shape on their own and expose the model again.
Is there some parameter I can turn off to stop this clothing from reshaping itself?
Thanks.
