Hey all,

Anyone know how i can change the gravity setting in poser physics?
the poser physics forum seems to be dead, so hopefully someone here can help :D

It's been a while since I used Poser physics but isn't it a question of changing the mass (or weight) of the figures instead of changing gravity...?

Yes you can make the figure "lighter" by reducing its Mass
but you are more likely to have him "explode" during the simulation.

I did some  videos with poser physics
last year.

yeah reducing mass wouldn't help, i know poser physics is about as basic as it can get i(its no endorphin) but surely some adjustment to gravity can be achieved?

Nope only changes in "Density"
What effect are you trying to get?

i need a character floating in water, very subtle motion, then i can drop into a realflow wave.
better ways to do this i know, but i am lazy ;)

Hi
poser physics is not suited for this kind of subtlety
I am curious but what is your host app for your Realflow flow simulation
and how were you planning on "dropping" the poser figure into the real wave.

C4D my app of choice, and i have found its better to drop an object onto the realwave for stability.
the idea was to use poserphysics in a zero g environment with small keyframed adjustments to the figure y position, causing the limbs to float about slightly.

Hi I am also a Realflow4 C4D user But I also have the Amazing Interposer Pro plugin® that loads poser figures directly from my runtime with full functionality so can animate him in C4D to match my loaded  animated Realwave mesh ( See pic) but I am not sure how you would do this with just poser other than just animating him/her manually in poser and hoping for a decent match in C4D.

i have interposer to, i was just trying to be lazy :D, although i think doing it this way would look good.
oh well, lets try something else;)
