Obviously you checked everywhere except the freesection. Svdl has a python script to remove unused morphs. Link below:

BTW, I had to reread your OP twice to understand exactly what you were after. A little bit more information next time. The script above should work for you.

Thanx a bundle!
I agree that Search on here is deplorable... I usually have to read all sorts of unrelated threads to get what I'm after. That's why I thought like a wiki would be useful, or something along those lines. The tutorials thing is a bit paltry next to this forum.... but you just have to find it.
Acadia has put together a stickied list (bless her heart) at the top of this forum of all the key information threads on here: I usually go there first when I'm looking for something.
But, get used to reading. Poser is not something you're going to be getting up to speed at quickly (if you're new at it) and the information you need is often-times not in the manual, or it is buried very cleverly. So, patience and time are your key allies in nutting this all out.

The intention for stripping out the zero morphs is to make the character's file size lighter. But this is only applicable for a particular scene and not for saving a reusable character. You are correct, though, there are specific morphs better left intact which could be used later if pose changes are necessary.

You can strip morphs out of a file with Morph Manager. Itr won't show Body channels for files with a .cr2 fextension but it will show them for files with a .pz2 extension. You can also do this with an editor for Poser files such as "CR2 Editor" or "Poser File Editor" in the markplace

I would like to know how to remove multiple morphs in v4. The search on this site is horrendous at best so don
t suggest a search. I tried that. I know to right-click but sometimes it
s greyed out (I was on the body, too)if there`s a script to remove all zeroed morphs I would like that to lighten up a few characters.
