Here's my last.  My two kitties engrossed with something outside...looking through the screen on the kitchen window. This is probably the only time they will sit this close together. The younger on the left and the older on the right.

I didn't know if I can post an image already uploaded on the Photography Gallery. If I can, here is a picture in the theme of shadows.

cfulton ( ) posted Wed, 26 May 2010 at 4:39 AM

I really like this, Myel - colour, shadow and texture!

MrsLubner ( ) posted Wed, 26 May 2010 at 7:59 AM

I agree... the smoothness of the leaf is repeated in the shadow and imposed on a really nicely textured surface. Three distinct levels of lighting used and all well married.

I've really enjoyed the many examples of shadow work this month.  I've learned a few things and I'll take it with me as I go forward in my gallery.  So many ideas! So many ways to see things!

Lucinda you got three very beautiful shots there.

auntietk ( ) posted Mon, 31 May 2010 at 9:54 AM

@ Helle ... Jip ... that IS Bill on the wall.  We were on Whidbey Island at an old fort, up in a gun emplacement, taking loads of photos.  Couldn't resist the strong afternoon shadows!  :)

I found I was missing bots from challenges in months past if I didn't post for a while.  Coincidence?  Maybe.  Perhaps there's some internal setting that says if you don't participate in X number of days, they figure you're not interested?  I don't know.  But it's happened to me too.  Maybe someone in programming knows ...

Thanks Martin!
Tara - I think you could be right as I was not on the Internet last week while on my trip! But I still should have received ebots!
Well, let's hope Tommy can sort this out!
