I agree... the smoothness of the leaf is repeated in the shadow and imposed on a really nicely textured surface. Three distinct levels of lighting used and all well married.

I've really enjoyed the many examples of shadow work this month. I've learned a few things and I'll take it with me as I go forward in my gallery. So many ideas! So many ways to see things!

I found I was missing bots from challenges in months past if I didn't post for a while. Coincidence? Maybe. Perhaps there's some internal setting that says if you don't participate in X number of days, they figure you're not interested? I don't know. But it's happened to me too. Maybe someone in programming knows ...
