xpdev ( ) posted Fri, 28 May 2010 at 12:24 PM · edited Sun, 21 July 2024 at 5:49 PM

Good evening everyone.

I installed Poser 8 (you must also install the file "Poser8Content.exe?) And I pack for Victoria 4.2 Pro Bundle.

Victoria I installed 4.2 and nothing I have the following problems:

1 - No genitals
2 - I have no idea how to change the measures of the breast.

These are the first problems, someone help me understand how it works?

Regarding the positioning of the body I have no problems.

Thanks Daniele

Ps there are italian user ?

In order to change the breasts (or anything else for that matter) You must inject the morphs.

If you have installed the whole pro bundle, you should have all the morphs for that.

First you load V4.2, then you also need to go into the pose folder and find morphs++ and inject them, then you should be able to do what you need to do.

xpdev ( ) posted Fri, 28 May 2010 at 12:52 PM

If you use poser, only V4morphs.exe

DS is for daz studio

Developer kit is some stuff if you want to model clothes and such

They are in the morphs++ under lower torso or something like that.

If you mean the hair and the texture, you just need to change her texture to the naked variant which I think comes with her? The default figure has textured under garments :)  (Or apply any custom skin on here.. You can find tons in the store here and in the free section)

Aside to the texture there's also the "gentital crease" morph

markschum ( ) posted Fri, 28 May 2010 at 1:37 PM

You will need to buy another product if you want detailed genitals. The morphs provided are fairly basic, fine for general use but not good enough if you are doing close ups.

ShaaraMuse3D ( ) posted Fri, 28 May 2010 at 1:40 PM

You can find detailed genitals at www.renderotica.com

xpdev ( ) posted Fri, 28 May 2010 at 1:44 PM

Ok.. Before any of us can help you any further, can you say which steps you've done?

You have installed everything, right?

Then you have opened Victoria 4?

Have you done anything else after that?

To use the morphs, you need to go into the pose folder and find the viki 4 morphs.  Load V4 and then load the morphs and you'll be able to use them.

in the figures library there should be two check marks at the bottom. The single one should load a figure , the double replaces the current figure (or vice versa) it should indicate which when you move the mouse over it.  The + and - are to add and  delete stuff from the library.

In the poser room the same check marks load the pose but one is as standard pose and the other as universal pose.

Morphs load as a pose file .

If you haven't already done so, you should run the Initialize Victoria 4 script.  It should appear as a desktop item.  V4 tends to be flakey if you don't.

Don't be demoralised... Poser is complicated software and V4.2 is a complicated model, so it's a little too much to expect it all to be intuitive. But you will soon get it working and learn how to set her up properly. Persevere a little... we'll help you through the bad times, if we can!

Anyway....   Select V4.2's Body. If you have installed her and the morphs++ correctly to the library, and injected the morphs++ correctly from the library, you should see the above in the Parameters window. If it's different, please show a screenshot of what you can see.

markschum ( ) posted Sat, 29 May 2010 at 2:01 AM

You want inh Base V4 and Inj Morphs ++ V4

Those are pose files that will add (inject) all the morphs for V4

the individual morphs are under the [35] Morphs ++ entry

use the single check mark to load then to the figure

xpdev ( ) posted Sat, 29 May 2010 at 2:33 AM

Sorry, with "[35] Morphs ++ entry" do you mean "Morphs ++ V4" ?

ok, something seems to work, a mechanism is not immediate and is not particularly easy to organize commands.

do more testing and then I ask other information.

Many thanks to all

Quote - ok, something seems to work, a mechanism is not immediate and is not particularly easy to organize commands.

If you are expecting everything to be "immediate" and "easy", you really have chosen the wrong hobby!

It's not immediate - you will have to learn how to use the software and the models.
It's not easy - which makes learning more rewarding and more enjoyable.

I'm glad you seem to have got the morphs working, anyway. We'll be here waiting for your next questions!

There are some basic tutorials available here and at Daz, and there is a manual in pdf format that you can get  from the help menu in Poser.  V4 is perhaps the most complicated figure to install and get working.  Once you have it loaded in a scene and the morphs working you can save it with a new name to the figures library. Just select it and click on the + sign at the bottom. That will give you a figure with morphs to load next time you want it.

You might use one of the other figures that come with Poser for your initial learning.

ok, she is not great, but she is helpful to understand how the hell does the whole morph.

Now (ignoring the positions because i'm able to do) I'm missing some stuff ...

Let's go for gradual steps:

1 - genital (male and female)

you have good files of genitals, link ?

Thank you.
