Here are a few obj's that I've made that can be used in various sculpting apps. They're all in obj format and with the exception of one model, they all have UV's. Feel free to use them for sculpting commercial or non-commercial work. If you make anything cool with them, feel free to drop me a note, as I'd love to check it out!

The file is in ZIP format for easy extraction and will extract to its own folder.

That is mighty generous of you, Teyon, thanks! I'll look them up later when I have some free time.

Glad to be able to offer them. Here's an example of what you can do with just one of the meshes using Sculptris. Now imagine Mudbox or ZBrush! The only limit is your imagination. :)

Thanks! I see you have a site under construction, too. Looking forward to that operating at full strength.

Thank you very much Teyon!

Dude! That is some awesome Sculptris art! Thanks a lot, man. =)

Teyon ( ) posted Thu, 10 June 2010 at 6:24 PM

Always happy to help out. Yeah, that site needs some TLC. Maybe I'll start working on it today?

For those of you using Sculptris, be sure to hit cancel on import of the meshes. They're UVMapped and if you hit OK, it will automatically take you to the paint app.

Also, Head 2.OBJ, subdivides a little oddly the second or third subdivision in for me when using Sculptris. Not sure why. It's nothing that the smooth tool can't fix but it's odd that it happens at all.
