I fully agree with Carin.
It's amazing what I see here appear.
So very special finds you have posting here, and so very fine, all of them, really!

p.s. By Bill his picture, my imagination went a bit with me on the run. It can be so much more than what the picture is (LOL)

This is a rose on my very delicate white tea. The browning is from the high dew levels lately but the yellow is from the lighting and not a part of the rose at all.

@ Tunde - I love your freedom image! It is magnificent!

@PJ - Those flowers are so delicate - both the rose and oleander! Just lovely!

I wish I could see a whole collage at the end of this month of all the "White on White" images! I think it will be awesome!

@ **whaleman,
** I was waiting for the lightbulb and you got it. Good job with the egg. I try it myself but it is a pure white nightmare to capture a same color and not to wash it out one of them.

Holy Cow! That bulb is awesome! I see so many different techniques used here.  See how the incoming light defines certain areas, casts shadows that highlight? The angle of the photo is important too. Exposure is important in getting enough distinction to separate items... great work.

Wow Carin...yes I like it and yes, that seed is really whispy...next to no contrast but that is what we are getting out of looking at white-on-white isn't it? Subtle. Must have been difficult to see to begin with.

I call this one:

Aerial of the coast of Namibia, near Walvis Bay

Bear in mind, I have not been to Africa. This view is imaginary in higher key lighting.

TomDart ( ) posted Wed, 07 July 2010 at 9:31 PM

I mean in the above, the desert areas at the coast.  Yes, this is a photo but of an object of about 2 inches diameter.

MrsLubner ( ) posted Wed, 07 July 2010 at 11:27 PM

**4abnormal - Hey!  I have one of those. LOL!

Tom, that really fabulous and it could be just as you say... well done.

![](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/art/emoticons/thumbup.gif)Some great entries ... cool imagination Tom. Ok first try is a golf ball on a large mushroom. fm ;-)

TomDart ( ) posted Thu, 08 July 2010 at 8:07 PM · edited Thu, 08 July 2010 at 8:08 PM

Flannelman,  we all need some inner glow... ;  )   To me, imagination has always been part of it.

White on white it is..and then on black.  I like this one and the suspended look of the golf ball. To me, it looses the golf ball identity  and becomes part of a surreal view of things...yeah, things.
Nice one.

Zoom up this one, folks and you see mushroom.
