Flannelman, how interesting. I agree it has lots of depth. And very representative of you... The black sets off the white on white nicely.

Tara... matches up nicely with 4abnormal's t-paper... LOL

Hello everyone :)

It continues to amaze me how beautiful and refined all the uploads are!
I 'must' look a long time, and I really admire them.

Here is my second upload.
The fins and my Kalachoë.

A nice weekend for all of you,
wishing , Mies.

Thanks Jen!!! - That was quick!

Mies - what a wonderful upload - so soft and serene! The lines of the blinds makes a wonderful patterned 'basket' for the flowers to rest in!!! You know - what I like most about all the White on White uploads is that they look so 'clean'...

Great work and wishing you a wonderful weekend!
I hope the Netherlands win the Soccer World Cup on Sunday!!!

Oops. Should have sent the original to match auntietk’s entry. Great shot auntietk.

As for Meisiekind, just for the fun of it, imagine a shot of 12 white candles, 12 white napkins, 12 cups and plates set on white tablecloth…look forward to see that picture. LOL

bmac62 ( ) posted Sat, 10 July 2010 at 7:52 AM

Thanks to all for asking about Mandy and the need for washing her white coat before picture taking...The color you see for her and the white towel is untouched...I just whitened the surrounding things. She stays nice and white like this unless she gets into digging which at almost age 12 she doesn't seem to see much profit in anymore, preferring to be a lady of leisure now.

This is such a great challenge subject. Been thinking about it all week.

I had to wait 'til the weekend so I could catch the morning sunlight coming in the window for this shot.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

Another shot utilizing the morning sun that streams into my dining room windows.

I hadn't realized until I started stacking, sugar cubes are no longer an exact square! Wonder when they started shaving down one side....

Meisiekind ( ) posted Sat, 10 July 2010 at 11:05 AM

Oh yeah - how lovely!!! The white porcelain is just stunning and the sugar cubes very creative!!! The light is wonderful... You should make use of this natural 'studio' more often!!! LOL...

Hey, hey, L.P.

Is your sugar cubes wall still intact?
Fantastic your idea's. this is ART!

b.t.w., Is it winter there?
Because then you could build further (an igloo).

What a very surprising challenge this time <3

From Mandy to sugar towers...

Now, here is one of our kitties, the only male we have now.  This image is more high key  than white on white...if this kitty was all white, only a slight hint of eyes would show!

Now that I have seen it, I believe I will get a large print of this one.( I love to see photos in print and not just on a monitor.)

myrrhluz ( ) posted Sat, 10 July 2010 at 5:36 PM

Beautiful, Tom!  I love the soft glow of his eyes!

LovelyPoetess ( ) posted Sat, 10 July 2010 at 9:28 PM

Ohhhh I like that Tom, pretty kitty, the touch of green in his eyes makes the image.
He reminds me of our Fozz, although Fozz has a bit of a mustache going for him.

We were gifted one of those photo frames that changes pictures every 15 seconds. Actually, we are now on our second one, when the first burned out we found we missed it enough to go out and purchase a replacement.

Everyone who visits becomes facinated with watching it.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

So where do they go when a photograph leaves you speechless?

Meisiekind ( ) posted Sun, 11 July 2010 at 3:12 AM

WOW Tom!!! I love it and it's definitely worthy of a very large print! A beautiful creation indeed!

And this is also my last picture now.
Our Hortensia, after a thunderstorm, with drops on.

But still very hot here, extremely.

P.J. nice and very fine image, bravo!

Greatings from Mies.

p.s. Thunder and lightning have a havoc here.
In our garden is a large tree fallen over the flowers and shrubs (a large branch of the neighbors)
I had to bike home, but the road was littered with thick branches and debris.
Garbage bags were everywhere.
this was 'The Holland-News', he, he!

dochtersions, those storms are wonderful to watch from inside but not much fun to be out in.  Here, we are known as the City of Trees (also the River City) and a large number of them are 100 years old and older so when we get one of those windy, wet storms, trees come down everywhere.  I know how dangerous it can be and the mess left in the streets to dodge is just as dangerous as the falling trees, sailing trash cans and standing water.  Glad you didn't have any damage but...did you get pictures??? LOL **

Thanks for your nice words (happy with that!)
When I was by bike, I came back from the doctor, and didn't have my camera with me. (grrrr)
From our garden I took some pictures.
But till now we are working hard to clean the damage.

Very tired now, but also glad, because we become more light in our garden :)
Always staying positive, right?
And....I was such glad that I already had make pictures from the flowers which now 'disappeared'.
Only, one must not suffer ptsd when those things happens ( sorry, maybe I'm talking to much here(?))

Greetings again from:
