you can select the item you want then right click and select the rest of the objects. then open the material pallet and check the check mark. this should put that material on all of them. At least that is the way I do it.

No way to do exactly what you want, but assigning Families to objects works pretty well for me. If you have an idea of which objects will share identical materials, assign a common family to those objects - preferably as you create them, but you can do it any time. Then, if you want to change materials, just select that Family with one click & assign the new material to all the objects in that Family in one fell swoop...

This only changes the image. If you need to tweak scale or specularity your best bet is to assign everything to a family so they can be selected all at once. Then changing one changes all.

Hello, I am new here. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a material pallete in Bryce that is editable.. as if a list of materials in a scene that has objects in it, can I select just one of the materials and edit it on all of the objects it appears on?
