Im new to Poser, I try to open a simple object (a person) I change position of arms and legs just a little. But when I save (as Collada) and import to VUE the skin of the object breaks on the places where i changed positions of bodyparts. ?? Why it does like this. It´s only minor changes..

What version of Poser Pro are you using?  And which version of Vue are you importing to?

I use Poser Pro 2010, and VUE 8

Doesn't Vue read native Poser files?  I don't think you need to export to Collada (if that even works).

Yes VUE "should" read Poser files, but there are some issue with VUE8, It does not work to import directly. There are many threads about this issue. If I leave the object untouched and Import to VUE (as collada) It looks fine. But immediately when I make some changes the skin cracks.

I have Vue 8 Infinite (just learning! ^^).  I export dolls from Poser as OBJ (weld body parts together!) and import that into Vue, and scale it up by 2.5 - this method works.

I hadn't tried direct import from Poser since I was going to re-do the materials in Vue anyway.

Poser 12, in feet.

OSes:  Win7Prox64, Win7Ultx64

Silo Pro 2.5.6 64bit, Vue Infinite 2014.7, Genetica 4.0 Studio, UV Mapper Pro, UV Layout Pro, PhotoImpact X3, GIF Animator 5

i use the python script collectsceneinentory which is in the utilities folder, then I choose a folder for this.  then i export poser scene as .obj to same folder, then i use vue to import the .obj and usually all the textures come in fine.  sometimes you need to decrease the shinyness after in the vue scene using materials editor.  the hair was the only thing i adjusted in this scene and vue loaded all the textures itself ie quick and easy love esther

I tried to export as .obj. And that worked, just some nagging about texture file missing. But I think I will solve.
