Hi people, this is a simple experience based in a video tutorial from Newtek at Siggraph 2010. They showed how to create a vortex using particles and displacement map, so I decided to try the same thing in Carrara and works really fine too.
The cool thing here is that dont have any animated object in this scene, only maps. I think this is a good start point to understand how UV works and can be turned into space warp tunnel and other amazing stuuf. Maybe I turn this into a tutorial more later.

I watched that again, I really need to beef up my Carrara Knowlege some of that I have no idea how to translate.  Still very cool
