Well, we built a Simple Room (<= link) using only Poser ...

Now ... let's (re) build the Alpha House (<= another link) for the girls of the AlphaAlphaAlpha Sorority....
(the fire is on Page 6 in the comix)

What's that, you don't have a lorez Box prop? ... :sad:

Well, ... You can ...
Download your FREE* lorez (6 polygon) Box Prop HERE.

The "lorez box.zip" file has 2 small聽 files in it.

  • lorez box.pp2 ...聽 (a Poser prop file) ... ~ 11K
  • lorez box.png ... (a thumbnail image file) ... ~ 5K

Download the zip file and then ...

Unzip the downloaded zip file and then move both files to a Props Libraray folder
= OR =
Extract the zip file聽 to a Poser Props folder

Viva Lo-Poly聽 !!! :thumbupboth: ... (aka lorez)

WallDoorf Astoria is a hotel? D*mn. I've been planting them in the back yard. Wonder when they'll grow big enough to move into. Rent in the Big Smoke is a little expensive these days.

I vote for stairs. I'm curious about them. I can see how they are made from 6 poly boxes, but the method explained to make them interests me. I'm curious about getting the rise/run set up correctly but I will defer to the Lady if she prefers otherwise. Except for the floor plan I would imagine adding the second floor is the same as doing the first minus the framing foundation. After all the ceiling is just the bottom of our floor assembly prop.

Why use the 6 poly box? Pretty simple. Poser's box is 8X8 polys per side X6 sides per box X14 boxes per stair = pdg stair-ing at his old computer crunch numbers for a half a pot of coffee vs 6 polys per box X 14 boxes = pdg barely having time to light a smoke to go with the cold cup of coffee on the desk beside him.聽 lol

Cross posting but magnets never even came to my coffee soused brain. Please carry on with the basics Doc. We can all use a refresher every now and then and there are many of us that this is new to.
