Subject: Reminders from a Grumpy Coordinator

Online Now!

When uploading:

ZIP FILES ONLY.

This means: no RARS, ARCS, 7ZI, or anything that isn't a ZIP.

To go with that: no uploading uncompressed items, such as objects, pose files, images, etc etc ad nauseum. ZIP them up! Windows has come with the ability to zip files since, I believe, Windows 2000, and it's hugely easy to use.

No, Nada, Nein, NO WAY, NO HOW, NEVER.... NUDE THUMBNAILS.

No nekkid Vickie (save HER for the gallery with all the other nekkid Vickies), Posette, Sydney, Michael or any other figure except animals and props and hair and so on.

If you don't do the above, I will put to use a newly-found ability to reupload items and do it myself. And my results might not be, as my Dad used to always say, "right purdy." :scared:

Also, when you upload something and it doesn't show up right away, DON'T UPLOAD IT AGAIN! Message Bobby* or me and ask if the files were uploaded correctly. Otherwise, I gotta decipher which one is what, delete duplicates, etc.

And, to go with that - LIMIT OF THREE UPLOADS PER DAY!

Any questions? Post 'em here.

Okay, off to bed for me...

Thanks for the reminder.

If you're really grumpy— and I mean really grumpy— you could just use your powers as a mod to refuse a freebie.

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Isn't it about time you supported those other compression formats then? Some of them are far more popular than zip & give better compression rates as well.

@LTD...you might post this to the Suggestions Forum...and get anyone else who feels this way as well to post politely to the thread...I've long wanted an open situation re: compression tools but 1 voice says little....

Accessing a ZIP file with Windows XP or later does not require additional software. So it makes sense to standardise on ZIP files. I'm sure you don't want to be constantly searching for and loading different decompression programs on your system just because others want to use exotic compression files.
