Subject: DS3 to Bryce 7

I am having problems getting my DS3 V3 figure into Bryce.  Saved the scene as a daz file....went to Bryce, used the DS button,  tried to find the saved daz file and could not.  

I know this is going to sound like I am a dummy but the file will show up if you browse in DS but if you browse in DS from Bryce it will not. 

So another option I thought I had was the  "Send to Bryce" button in DS, but it will not work for me.   Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.  I used to do this type of process with Poser 4 and Bryce 5.5 .....grrrrrr!  :-)))

Make sure your object(s) are selected before you click on the bridge...

Duh!!!!!   You don't know how many times I have clicked on that bridge and got nothing.  It's always the simple things that trip you up, isn't it?

Another problem I encountered was that some figures were going into Bryce 7 as animations and the figure would arrive reposed..

So I now remove animations from any figures in DS3 at the zero pose stage and I've had no problems importing any figures now.Well apart from the fact that most hair props won't translate across with the figure.They have to go through separately and be repositioned in Bryce.A bit tedious but not impossible..

I make sure that everything on the figure  or attached to it is highlighted ( selected ) before I send it to Bryce and so far I haven't had a problem....even the hair goes with.

Not all hair will highlighted or not..

Thanks everyone.....late last night I finally got something from DS to Bryce.  I just was not selecting things correctly.   Operator error.   :-((((

Sadly I bought all the hair that won't. and I'm too mean to  be buying more hair that will translate across..That could get real expensive.:biggrin:
