I have many characters designed for poser that won't load in Carrara. I have to apply the morphs in poser, then import the poser scene into a carrara scene. After that, I save the carrara scene and import it to bring in the character in future scenes.
I don't know why these characters are different, but at least you know it isn't just you. :)
Sometime ago there a problem with Blackhearted GND4 and after talk to the creator he fixed the problem. Look like some sintax problem in the file that Poser and DazStudio ignore and Carrara dont.
I think a good idea is to report the problem to the bug track for Carrara at daz3D site too, this way they can look what is wrong and fixe right inside Carrara too.

It took me a while to figure out, but that method of loading the character in Poser, adding the morphs I want, and saving (making sure 'use limits') is checked and then importing into Carrara has solved all my morph problems. I don't know why certain morphs don't work in Carrara any other way, but for me the important thing is that the workaround works, and I can get all morphs working in Carrara. At some point though it would be nice if Daz fixed this little issue so I could load all morphs in Carrara and they would all work.

The character product fr-venus - I cannot get any morphs or textures to load.
Wanted to check the forums and see if anyone had same problem or a solution (or maybe it is just me!)
Works fine in DAZ studio and I can export/import via collada - bus something (collada?) messes up some mesh and dynamic hair goes stupid ( for one).
Thanks for any help.
