Wow, Helle, how I like your still life's. That shining one with the frog, is most impressing, although I love your last one also very much!
When you ever need money, you can sell them to me.... perhaps ???? 😉

helanker ( ) posted Sun, 26 September 2010 at 5:15 AM

Thanks Carin.
As long as i can remember (and that till about my thirth year) my grandma had this little girl standing on the top of her display cabinet. Later my uncle bought the house and i got the little statue. The other one is a little faun made in Danish royal porcelain..... not so old :-)

helanker ( ) posted Sun, 26 September 2010 at 5:18 AM

HEHE Thank you Mies. I will remember it

Tanti auguri a tua nipote ! Serve un ricambio per Muti , grande direttore. BUona settimana , M.C.,

To close in "sweetness" my participation in this challenge, here are figs laid on a texture  provided by Mario, a valued friend!
Thanks Mario, also for valuable advice on Photoshop! :-)

A good week to everyone of you!   :-)

emmecielle ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 3:11 AM

helanker ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 3:33 AM

Awww that is indeed a lovely and ... sweet still life Well done.

aksirp ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 3:37 AM

wonderful figs, dolce still live!

mariogiannecchini ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 4:57 AM · edited Mon, 27 September 2010 at 4:58 AM

Excellent achievement! You have done a great job! It was worth it. Based think it's easier to do than to say

emmecielle ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 5:14 AM

Grazie Mario! :-)

Thank you Mario! I labored a bit, but then I found a way to put  these blessed figs on the texture....
I made trasparent the lower area of the photo with the figs and then I glued it on your texture, with the drop shadow option I gave a little thick to fruit ... I believe that the result is good enough, right? :-)

emmecielle ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 5:16 AM

Many thanks, Helle and Priska!  I'm glad you like it!   :-)

Meisiekind ( ) posted Mon, 27 September 2010 at 7:48 AM

Two wonderful additions to the forum - the shadow of the umbrella and the lovely fruit bouquet!
Well done indeed!!

A belated start for me...
I have been playing with the camera on my new cellphone.  I downloaded a 'retro camera' app for it and this was what I managed to achieve, no post editing!
