The APC is a fictional vehicle and important part of the film Aliens. It was made from a rebuilt airport tug normally used to tow aircraft.

British Airways was re-equipping several of its aircraft tug tractors, and the crew managed to purchase a Douglas Equipment Limited DC12-series tug to use as the armored personnel carrier. It initially weighed 70 short tons (64,000 kg), and although the crew removed 35 short tons (32,000 kg) of lead, the power station floor, where the shots were filmed, had to be reinforced to support the weight.
