Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 27 9:24 pm)
Thanks,
That did some to solve the problem, but that also begs the question, is there a python script that can set all these values to 0 in poser 2010?
I remember that poser 6 had an option to turn of advanced material shaders or something like that. I don't see an equivalent in poser pro, which means i have to set each node off one by one ;-(
Nick
Well, you discovered the default shader supplied with V4 is absolute bobbins, so now your next step is to get a replacement. IMO, you should take a look at BagginsBill's VSS. A search on the forum - it may even be in the list of nodes and shader stuff at the top - should unearth it.
I can't answer your PP 2010 query, unfortunately.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
If those are the Daz default shaders, you might try the skin shader that came with the latest sortie of VSS (PR3, I believe). Just do a search on user Bagginsbill (who developed VSS, which is a shader management tool: it distributes a given shader over multiple material zones) and have a look at his signature. This will link you to all sorts of fine tools he's developed for the Poser community, including VSS.

You're welcome, Nick... and thanks for pointing that out, HBorre. :blushing:

Decided to get back into poser after a few years of absence. So, forgive me if this question is obvious to most, but I'm stuck. I'm trying to get dark shadows to appear on v4 (default daz textures). And no matter what I do, she's always glowing in the dark regardless if there is no light on her.
Is there a way to fix this??
By the way poser pro 2010, here's a sample of what I'm talking about. Everything around her is black (no light, parts of her body should also be 100% black, but they are not!!!)
Thanks for your help
Nick
