Yes  Obj format works ok after you invert the transparency map (black becoming white and vice versa)

Yup, import as obj then go to material room and tweek the transparency map, its a little work, but works very well.

Heres a couple of trees that were a sample with some of Lisas Botanicals from Daz.

The trees are billboards so not great for animations but with care fine for pictures, just be careful of the shadows.

I have used the Billboards in Poser and they work fine. How do I invert the Transparency?

You must use a paint soft (free one or others) ,and fill in white the black part  and vice versa or use the option inverse  image if you have it  See here at first the original and after the modified one

Thank You for all the interest and info. The good news is Flip the Normals on Import reduced the Black caste by a large%. I will give more details and Images later.

I think I am going to go with Vue for this scene, The Models were not tweaked  for Poser Import. I am going to use the info provided here and at RDNA to figure it out. Thanks again for the info.

Each renderer has its own way of doing alphas and/or transparencies.  Vue and modo both have quick-click fixes for creating alphas or inverting them.  Other apps will need the image maps edited first.

These are X-Frog Spruce Trees (click for a bit bigger view).

I added a bump map to the tree that's closest to the camera and noodled with the trees' colors to make them appear as though they are at different distances.

I'll check nudity (just in case), don't wanna get in trouble.  ; )
