Dear Daz,
eversince I first laid eyes on the 3d artwork made with Daz, I fell in love. I love the versatility of Daz, as well as the unending options one has. However, after over a year of using your product and the content, I've noticed that there is something seriously wrong: over 90% of the 3d clothing, hair, and skins offered by the published artists is only for your female figures. There seems to be quite an ignoring of Michael, the Freak, and Hiro. In fact, on the day I sent this email, the first four pages of your new products featured nothing, NOTHING, for M4. This seems petty, but as there is virtually no information on how to make fantastic outfits for my figures myself, my only option is to scrounge the internet looking for new products offered. Could you guys not give your published artists a push to see more content for m4 on the market? I'm just tired of seeing your website market inundated with all these cool clothing, props, and skimpy fantasy armor for v4 and saying to myself geeze, I wish they'd make something like this for m4. I'm not asking for a lot, but could you guys maybe ask your vendors to, instead of releasing a set of clothing for just v4, but also offer an m4 version as well? Maybe give them a push to start making more products for those of us who don't really use v4, or is maybe tired of seeing v4 products dominating the web?
but its quite simple..
make a good outfit for V4 and sell 500 of it..
Make a good outfit for M4 and sell 250 of it...
That 50% less income, but if we make it 50% more expensive tp even the money, the sale will drop even more..
So you can do the math i gues....
If it pays the rent... make V4 ..landlords dont have 50% off promotions as far as i know..
But we have seen this discussion a zillion times here and at Daz and Rdna and other forums
Becomes a kind of a dead horse ..

Just like in real life a women's wardrobe far outnumbers a man's wardrobe. My ex-wife's cloths took up both wardrobe cabinets in our bedroom. My clothes were regulated to the single wardrobe cabinet in the spare bedroom. LOL. And let's not start about shoes!Anyhoot never forget the old addage "Sex Sells". Women buy clothes for Vicky to live out their fantasy to wear attractive clothes. Men buy clothes for Vicky to live out their fantasy to see women in attractive clothes (or nothing at all LOL which is cheaper if you intend to save money on buying 3D content).
Poor Mick is relegated to a prop for Vicky. However it is great now that this steampunk fad has brought in some interesting apperal for Mick. And don't forget Xurge3D who has always had great fantasy clothes for Mick. Xurge3D has items on speacial sales at time to time and I think a large sale around XMas.

Ok, so for over a year I've been using DAZ avidly, I love it. However, I've always noticed how there seems to be a general lack of content for the male figure, most artists instead favouring V4 to focus their time on, so there are oodles and oodles of skimpy, stringy skirts, thigh high fem-dom boots, and bodices that look like they were made for an hourglass instead of a woman. Please tell me other people are noticing this and are tired of it as well? I just sent DAZ a letter detailing my frustration with the market place, should I send one to Renderosity as well?
