Subject: texturing problem Bryce 5

When I was done texturing Victoria in Bryce 5 following the tutorial at poser arcana.. I applied a bumpmap to another modell in the scene and Bryce changed Victorias texture also after that whenever I tried to change texture on something it would change in other places to... Am I doing something wrong or is this another bug??? they where both poser models

did you export the poser models with object names attached? That may be the problem because the textures are being applied to all surfaces with like identities.

I've had this same problem in Bryce 4 where I was applying textures (such as for transparent hairstyle elements) had the textures start hopping all over! I'd apply the transmap to the hair object only and BANG Bryce would apply it to the entire model. It can get very frustrating very quickly.

I dleted the old models and imported them again with "object names" somehow it kept the old info until I rebooted now it seem to work however I still cant seem to get the texture of the eye to show the pupil and iris are white???

Oh, that's a different problem related to Victoria. She actually has two layers to her eye. One is just like a thin sphere that encapsulates the whole eye. If you browse through the meshes in that model you will find the sphere. You can delete it or turn it to a 100% transparent object with a nice small specular spot to make the eyes look shiny. You will see the real eye textures underneath.
