Great idea with this plant, Mario. It's such special to see!

And how adorable this Zinnia is, Maria C. Really a very lovely one!

Emmecielle - that zinnia petals are indeed amazing! They are so wonderful to photograph!

It was my granddaughter's school's Christmas concert this past Thursday. The stage light was so bad that we couldn't take decent shots. I did mess around with some Christmas decorations on the wall, "painting" with the lights and making this pattern! :):)

Here is my last shot... I actually wanted to send in an animation of the little roe, i did today, but i thoutght it was so much repeating after all, so you get this instead.

Meisiekind ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 1:33 PM

Ahhh Helle - such a great 'artistic' image! Well thought our and presented dear friend!

X Carin , jcpowell and  Helle ,

very beautiful pictures !!!

helanker ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 1:58 PM

Thanks Carin, You see i am not in lack of brushes. :-)

I suddently got busy while posting it, so I misspelled a word and forgot a "NOT". MY hubby called me desperately. He wanted me to come and watch the dayly Christmas calender (for children) on tv HAHAHAHA ! So I should have written:

I actually wanted to send in an animation of the little Roe, I made today, but i thought it was maybe not so much repeating after all, so you get this instead.

So you will have to miss the little Roe animation even though it is repeating its movements LOL

dochtersions ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 2:03 PM

WOW, great textures in that holes, Joe.

And your image, I love it, Helle.
Great idea.
And a better idea is:
Give me a pair of you nice brushes,
you can not use them all simultaneously, hehehe!

helanker ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 2:08 PM

OH Yes, I wish I could MAIL you some, Mies :-) Isnt the big one just AWESOME? Have only used it once.

dochtersions ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 2:16 PM

Oh yes, Helle,

He looks great, nice for the big work.
I clean the brushes with old-fashioned 'green' soap, they remain soft then.

Hye, hey, If I'm better, maybe I'll pick a few of those nice ones, watch out! :D

Faemike55 ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 2:37 PM

Great images all of you!

auntietk ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 3:11 PM

I would LIKE to say, Helle, that I hope "brushes out" means you'll be painting soon.  But I am not going to say that, because if I do, you'll be on MY behind to start painting soon, as well!  LOL!  So I will just think about it quietly and NOT ask you to paint something!

HEHE Mies yes i clean them with normal Neutral hand soap. :)

And Tara, you just take care, I dont hang on your shoulders as a YOKE !! LOL
OH I am painting, but not anything, I would show in public. Just ask Mark. He knows, the poor guy. :D

Yes it is awesome, this wall. :)

TomDart ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 2010 at 7:45 PM

This last group of images is great.  I really like the way each of us translates the idea "patterns and repitition".   That means in this like other challenges, each does his or her thought on it and nothing is boring.  This is much fun indeed and yes, a challenge.

Paint brushes? I have done two paintings on canvas with acrylics.  The brushes are long gone as are the paintings.  My best brushes are here with me..I wash them several times a day and also use them to type this post.      Ha Ha.  Tom.

Have a good Sunday all,

Nice one Mike! You have repitition and patterns in both type of bricks as well as the little windows! Very well seen!

:)
