I don't have any boots. It doesn't stay cold here long enough to need them. When we had our cold snap last week and a couple inches of snow, I just wore my OLD Birkenstocks instead of my new ones.

Here's an old, rusty grill that has been placed over the front of a long abandoned elevator used to bring 600 pound coastal artillery shells up from storage to the guns. Strangely, some grills were emplaced, other such opening are uncovered...just another mystery in an old, tomb-like, reinforced concrete firing battery that went out of business 65-70 years ago.

Believe it or not, this is a very fuzzy dog that my great-niece got for Christmas. She PULLED it out of the bag, which made the picture fuzzy as all get-out. I figured I'm covered. Fuzzy dog, fuzzy pic ... there you go! :)

Great shots everyone. I found this funny....I visited an Airforce base today with my cousin who is in the Airforce. Because I'm not, I had to provide ID, my cars's number plates were photographed etc. But when we got inside, there was a sign saying that it's important in life to read what you sign. They were joking that I had actually just signed up for duty without knowing!

Very classy indeed!

Does this count as Trashy. This was once a very nice shop near me that sold all kinds of takeaway food etc. It's been closed for years! It sits on land that would be worth a fortune, and all the 'well to do' residents have been trying to have it cleaned up for years without success!!!

I suppose controversial depends upon where you are. This is an outdoor concert venue at Millenium Park in Chicago, and it's probably equally loved and hated! Chip describes it as a peeled back tin can, but I think he actually likes it.
