It's been a long time since I've posted anything :-)

I wanted to offer a special holiday present to the members of Renderosity who wanted to share freebies but didn't have any good place to host the content on. This goes for videos, mp3s, and downloadable content of any kind.

Here's the deal, I got a really great thing going with access to Amazon's S3 distributed cloud servers that serve up multimedia content.

I wanted to give back a little to the community that helped me out a long time ago when I was just starting out in 3d/graphics so I thought I'd offer up some of my bandwidth and storage for people who wanted to share but didn't have a good place to do this from.

So, the criteria is: You must own your content. You must be giving it away for free. And no pornographic stuff. You will get to have a description of your content and within that, you can post a link to your own Renderosity gallery or web site (whatever).

If it's a video or mp3, you will also be able to stream it from your website (kinda like you can with a youtube video embedded in a webpage) using the player that comes with this service.

It's a pretty basic system so I can't really customize it much but I have lots of space and bandwidth to spare, so hey, if you got something free you always wanted to share with the world now's your chance. Happy Holidays :-)

If you are interested pop me an email to the gmail account I set up jut for handling this (freestuffhosting @ gmail.com) with your information and we'll try to get your stuff uploaded. :-)  The email will send me a notice to my regular email account so I'll know there are new messages in there.
