Subject: Some clothes wont load, not the bug

cmramlow ( ) posted Fri, 24 December 2010 at 1:53 AM · edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 1:36 AM

Hi all,

I've got the lastest version on DAZ 3. I am using the V4.2++ base and I'm trying to get this to load: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=70491.

When I try I see the progress bar, it says building scene, and then nothing happens, at least no clothes adorn the base figure. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you!

Christine

Might be something to do with whatever version you have (don't know your "latest"), but I just tested it myself, in using 3.1.2.19, they load just fine.

I just noticed that all the ones that arent loading have the word MAT at the start of the name like MAT Pretty3D or MAT Pleasure.  What is a MAT?

My DAZ version is 3.1.2.19

Is it that these are ment for poser and not DAZ?

Oh, ok.  Pretty simple.  "Mat" is material that you apply to the clothing, which changes the texture or colors of the clothes.
Go to "Figures" in your runtime, you should find a folder called "Scrumptious", there you will find the clothes to load.

Be sure and have V4 selected and then double click the clothes item, then it will load and conform (be on) to her.

I guess I dont have the clothing for the MAT since I can't find anything to put on MAT onto. I have a suspicious amount of MATs w/o clothes to apply them to.....very strange. Something more is amiss.

Thanks for you help wolf. If you can think of anything else please feel free to share it.

Just wanted to say thank you! I went back in and found the original clothes, then the mat like you taught me, and it worked! Thank you so much for helping me with this!
