Hmm...well, I could help you if you were using photoshop, but i haven't used gimp in ages. My best suggestion would be to check Deviant Art..there's a ton of gimp stuff there, and lots of comic type stuff. You may well find someone who's come up with an action or script to convert the jpg that you render in DS to a line art cartoon. Otherwise, I think you can record actions in gimp just like you can in Photoshop. Might be wrong, but I'm pretty confident its possible. So you could always hunt up a tut on how to make things cartoony in gimp, follow the steps on one image and record it to make it an action or script that you can then run on other images as a time saver. Good luck, and so sorry i can't be more help! It might be possible to do that in DS, i'm still a noob with it. I'd suggest asking in the newbie help forums at Daz3d...they're maintained by very helpful community volunteers. Someone should be able to tell you if its possible straight in DS or not.

Are you rendering your images in CARTOON style from the render software?

You will find this in the RENDER SETTINGS under the tab STYLES.

Also turn off all shadow when using lights.

Maybe some photoshop filters will work in gimp.
I would get photoshop if need be.
How would photoshop help ?

These where hand drawn I'm new to D/S But never seen a rende engine that would render like these but if D/S or a plug shaders any thing could ,killer.

save me a lot of time :)

Try Topaz Clean and Simplify. Both are great for creating toon styles.  Dynamic Auto-Painter gives a very painterly effect.

Well, I have about 10 photo to comic actions that I got in my subscription at www.actionfx.com. Al Ward is a photoshop guru and he's the best when it comes to actions. It is a subscription site, though...i think he's got month to month and maybe even a 7 day subscription thats VERY reasonably priced. I think a whole years subscription is like $24, so its very cheap. There's tons of freebies there, too, so maybe you'll get lucky and find what you need for free. Plus, he'll probably be able to tell you which would work in gimp, and he'll make actions to order if you request them. I think the site has well over 100,000 actions/styles/brushes etc all included in your membership, and tons of those will work in gimp. You can also look into photoshop elements. Its WAY cheaper than photoshop. You can even get free PSE versions with lots of electronics purchases. I think i got one when i bought my Wacom Craft tablet, and another when i bought some antivirus, so its out there. If you just buy it, you can get a few year old version for about $40, I think. Just make sure you get PSE6 or higher, cause thats when they started being able to use many photoshop actions. Obviously, some don't work in PSE..that's the difference between a program thats under $100 and one thats close to $1000, but tons do. I'd check out AFX, send Al Ward a message, show him your sample (though you might want to cover nudity) and ask for his advice. He works really hard to meet client needs, so crossing fingers he can help you!

Good luck!

Another good one is PostWork Shop.

Daz renders cartoon style...change the setting in the render>settings  to cartoon and turn off shadows.

Annie's suggestion would save time and might give you the look you want.

Images that run around in my head eventually end up in my gallery.

Poseworks PWtoon shaders would get you this effect within DS, they are availble over at Daz.
