Photos of the great actresses of the past are plentiful.  Sounds like a good suggestion for the MP wishing well.  I would probably buy a morph/texture pack of great old stars (both male and female).  Oh, wait!  I have some of the male ones, but not any of the classic female stars.  Aren't their any out there already?

I bought Audrey Hepburn here quite awhile back, in fact.

Sadly, no longer available...  hate when that happens. Quite a good likeness, too...

Audry Hepburn had the most angelic face, didn't she? And Bacall's beauty lay in her non-perfect features. Rita Hayworth, Maureen O'Hara, and Jane Russell... all strong beauties.

Dang, I haven't had a minute to even unzip anything, but the subject of this thread is almost 70mb zipped!

Hope I can still get a copy of this lovely somewhere... maybe the vendor might sell me a copy...

It never hurts to ask! 😄

Speaking of actor look-a-likes, addy has one that is almost a dead-ringer for Elizabeth Taylor. She's been on my wishlist for quite awhile now.

To bad we couldn't get the Vendors to have an option for a burnt in reflection AND a non-reflection option. It hasn't been that long ago since vendors started breaking up the make up options give give their sets more versitality, you would think that they would want to make their sets more appealing to a greater number of customers.

RobynsVeil ( ) posted Tue, 04 January 2011 at 11:53 PM

The problem with non-burnt-in specularity is it's a camera thing. Skin has oil, and is going to reflect light depending on the lighting. Hard to remove, although there's a thread on here where Bagginsbill has come up with a solution to remove it. But it would be good to have skin without shine and eye textures without reflections. Even as an option. I would *definitely pay extra for it!

That's a good Audrey Hepburn allright, but I'd rather have a Katerine Hepburn.  Especially an older Katherine.  I like characters with character and age lines.  Too many perfect looking Vickie, Stephanie, etc.'s out there.  Arduino's Lee Van Cleaf and Clint look-alikes are another favorite of mine.

I've seen one or two Marilyns (of course) and there was a nice free Raquel a few years back - she counts as a classic these days I suppose. It would be nice to have Sophia Loren, Bardot & I've always fancied Veronica Lake :-)

With the amount of products that appear every day, I can see why weeding out the non-sellers is necessary. On the other hand, I hate to see anything disappear.

But for the list of faces, Loretta Young, Lucille Ball, and Fae Ray would be nice.

Let's not forget the ladies of rock, like Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks. (I think Damsel used to have a Cher-like character.)

Heck, the guys of rock would be great, too: Sammy Hagar (young and with no talking), David Lee Roth, or Robert Plant. hmm.... think I might like well-toned guys with really long hair? ;)

Thank goodness there was no Poser and a Linda Ronstadt figure back in the day. They would have buried me with the mouse still clutched in my hand.

For Lauren Bacall, you can always use Mike 2 with the Bowie morph I made.  ;)

While I always thought David Bowie looked rather femanine is a scary way, I don't think he looks like Bacall???  At least I certainly wouldn't insult her that way.

David Bowie morph? Where is this? Bowie is a good face! And Ozzie. Ozzie has a great face!

Dave-So ( ) posted Mon, 10 January 2011 at 5:29 PM

allright..why have i not gotten any email updates to the now different thrust of the thread?

Going away products? Too many anyway...or should I say too many that are tooo much the same. How many textures for V4 do we need really ?

Bowie and feminine...I think a lot of the m4, m3 and whatever characters look feminine..at least the way they're posed in the marketing images. A lot of the rock stars look pretty fem to me as well. of course in the 80s with all the glam stuff going on, it was really pronounced.

Reanimating this because I found Bacall and a host of others. V01f mentioned celeb morphs in another thread, so credit to him/her. The artist Werts at ShareCG has Bacall, Liz Taylor, Ingrid Bergman, Edw. G. Robinson, Eastwood, Natalie Wood, Kirk Douglas, Star Trek characters and more. These are different from Mogadeet's famous morphs. They are for V4/M4 and come in .obj format so you have to load them 'manually' (though someone has started making inj morphs for some of them as well). Haven't tried any of them yet but some of them look very nice.

Goto http://www.sharecg.com/index.php and search for "Werts" - there are almost 30 pages thanks to sharecg's insane multiple listings, but it's worth it to wade through them to find all the goodies. The ones converted to inj format by Marieah are here:

Take a look at the inside cover of the vinyl release of "Aladdin Sane".  Many people remarked at the time how much he looked like Bacall.  Naturally, people change over time and the resemblance is slight - if at all - now.

I never uploaded the morph/texture to Freestuff but I did send it out to a few people on request, some years ago.  I allowed redistribution, too.  Since it doesn't seem to have propagated, I'll pack and upload to Freestuff in the next few days.  Keep in mind it's for Mike 2 but the morph may work on Stephanie, as will the texture.
