Are you saying that the actual mesh is cut into hip and thighs, or just that there are thigh actors in the conformer. If it's the latter, that's standard prectice to include thigh actors, so that the thigh JPs can influence the hip. If you are talking about the actual mesh having thighs, that might be bad.
The mesh groups are being defined such that the thighs are present where, on the main Antonia mesh, we have only the hip actor. (See attached image.) I'm not sure whether that presents problems, as the JCMs are being copied over for both the hip and the thighs.

The WW files are being tested (and looking good) and odf has stated that the version 1.2 (AKA Antonia-WW, formerly known as Antonia version 1.0.1) should be posted some time this weekend.

Use is simple. When converting a garment, use WW to add body morphs. This will create all of the JCMs and the dials in BODY. Then conform your converted garment to Antonia and apply the pose to the garment. The garment will become superconforming, with the JCMs following the conforming parent figure.
As I said, it seems to work so far. I haven't tested it extensively.

I don't know anything about Wardrobe Wizard, or how it is supposed to work. I would have thought that it would be best to cut the mesh similar to the target figure, but perhaps I am wrong, perhaps that does not matter. So long as the joint centers and JPs match the target, I guess it would bend prety much the same. Never really thought about that before.

I think bloodsong did some tests, way back when, and reported that the way the mesh is cut isn't of great importance in most situations. Where it does start to matter is when there can be problems with the defined edges of the actor groups, since an actor's joint will only affect itself and its parent. Possibly, too, welding becomes a concern in certain arrangements.
I haven't tested any WW conversions with difficult poses, so far, such as those with extreme thigh bend or spread. With fairly standard poses, however, things are working fairly well.

Thigh boots seem to present complications. I had to convert these twice, once as High Heels (for the feet) and once as Normal Clothing (for the legs), then mix the two shapes together with some morph surgery.
Nudity flag for the moderately salacious pose and camera angle combination (which is used to make the buttock distortion evident).

Woah - you even converted shoes!! While I have problems analyzing Antonia's morphs because WW2 gives back a "Antonia-1.0 is not a supported figure!" - of course it does because I first have to alter the name of the geometry file (and the one of Antonia that works with Puppet Master) and the cr2s and so on. So please be patient with me. I first needed Cage's advice on how to transfer the jcm's as well.

The only thing I couldn't get to work so far with WW2 are tight dresses, all of them break along the thigh as soon as it's bend (a render will follow).

Magnets? Seriously, I wouldn't even expect poses like that to work with tight skirts. That's what dynamic clothes were invented for.

Yep, that's what they've made for (and by the way: WW2 does fine work when converting them to fit other figures!). But like many other dresses in this style this dress contains morphs to help bending the skirt to follow the pose. As always when converting clothes with WW these morphs appear visible when you load the clothes (usually as balls or cones). I tried to help myself with them but the skirt looks still "torn"...

I didn't realize that WW really isn't supposed to handle JCMs until SaintFox pointed it out to me. By a happy accident, though, Antonia's JCMs can be copied over using WW's "Add Body Morphs" function. Lesbentley's solution to the dropped ERC, by linking the JCMs to valueParm dials in BODY, causes WW to treat the JCMs as it would FBMs. Pretty cool. I guess that's serendipity, maybe. :laugh:

No, it runs fine under Windows. Wine is what I use to run Windows programs under Linux. WW2 is the first Python script I've seen that doesn't like that.

Balls and cones. Then strictly speaking these are not morphs, they are Body Handles. Extra actors that influence the figure via joint parameters. Not that that information helps any with your problem.
You might try making morphs with magnets to correct the problem, than just dial them in manually when needed. Depends on how many diffrent problems you are getting.

It should not be hard to do the super-conforming stuff by hand. All Antonia's JCMs are filtered through the BODY, right? So long as the conformer is set up in the same way, you can just go through each JCM channel in the BODY and replace "Figure #" with "Figure" and ":#" with nothing, that is to say, delete it. Before you load the conformer, make sure Antonia is selected.
When the conformer loads it will take the figure number from the instance of Antonia that was selected at the time it was loaded, and use that in the JCM channels, thus slaving to Antonia, not itself.
Note that if you resave a super conformer, you break its super conforming abilities.

No, it runs fine under Windows. Wine is what I use to run Windows programs under Linux. WW2 is the first Python script I've seen that doesn't like that.
If the Poser plugin version of WW2 doesn't work with wine you might try the stand-alone version that runs independently from Poser. If that is what you're doing then just disreguard this. I haven't had much Poser time in months and haven't re-installed it on this latest Linux version I'm using but it would be interesting to see if at least the stand alone WW2 ran on Linux/wine. (^.^)

The pose I posted? It works for me (and apparently for SaintFox?) if I conform the garment to Antonia, then apply the pose. All the pose does is insert the JCM-slaving ERC information into the BODY dials in the garment, using the naming WW will apply (dials named "Antonia JCM-" rather than "JCM-"). Presumably it won't work if the garment isn't conformed when the pose is applied.
A script to fully set up converted garments would be a better solution, however. :woot:

Alyson and Miki 2 clothes fit better then V4 e. g. as they have a similar topology as Antonia and its also related to the mesh of the clothes if they fit as converted clothes in poses.
BTW, pumps and High heels are not so fine when converted. Other clothes, doesn't matter from wich figure work well when converted but need tweaking in poses.

How is the actor re-grouping coming out in everyone else's tests? I'm a bit puzzled by what I'm seeing in mine, now that I look at it. I have "Regroup" selected, but almost everything seems to come out with the same grouping as the original. I did the P4 female catsuit, for instance, and it came out with Hip welded to Abdomen, with Waist as a ghost actor. (Which doesn't seem to break the figure. It still handles decently in most areas.)
I guess I was expecting different grouping handling.

No, I take that back. The shoulders are being re-grouped. It's just the Abdomen-Waist-Hip area that's doing surprising things.

I think they started moving conforming clothes to the Props library, to have them together with the dynamic clothes. Which confuses me most of the time. :lol: Try digging around in the P8 props library a bit. They're in there, somewhere. :laugh:
IIRC, WW should be able to take a dynamic garment and convert it to a figure, so the P8 clothing (all of which seems to be dynamic, as far as I can tell) may be useable, as well as the conformers for P6 and P7.
