Subject: Controlling Smoothness

Is there a way of controlling the smoothness of rendered objects in Poser? With imported objects any surface less than 90 renders smooth. The only workable solution around this that I've found is to increase the polygon count on the objects flatter surfaces. Surely there must be a lesser insane way to get flatter surfaces than this? split vertices in UVMapper (Windows version). it doesn't work in the Mac version, so you have to use other tricks.

Whey you model, put two edges up close to the corner, real close when you want a really sharp edge.
