Yes, but I have Windows XP. DAZ 3.xxx (purchased on sale) did freeze a couple of times. So I unnstalled and went back to my nice stable DAZ 2.3.3.3.146. I did not waste time doing research, etc. so don't know what the problem was.
I didn't try to run it on my laptop which has Vista.
Images that run around in
my head eventually end up in my
gallery.

Hi guys,
I'm a longtime DAZ user (since 1.2 now DS3A 3.1.2.32) and I've never come across this problem. BTW, I'm on an iMac 10.5.8
Well to start with I'm building a scene as usual, nothing special or out of the ordinary. So I load V4 outfit her, pose her, supply her with a distant light for perspective, and start working on the surfaces (just a single character). Suddenly, everything FREEZES UP! And I do mean everything! The whole computer system. I lose my mouse somewhere on the screen and cannot click to force quit. So I try to force quit by Command+option+escape and NOTHING! So I have to manually shut it down from behind. I think to myself, "Maybe just a minor glitch somewhere." I load her up again and guess what? Right! Same exact problem. I run a check of the HD. No problem there. I check the log and nothing out of the ordinary there either. So I try one last time and it happens again. So instead of working on her I start working on the other characters for the scene. NO PROBLEM WHATSOEVER. Runs smooth as silk. I finish all the other characters without the slightest hiccup. Then I load The V4 character up again and everything seems to be running better until I get into the surfaces again. AND IT HAPPENS AGAIN! Has anyone ever had this problem before on their Mac using DS3A? Thanks in advance for any and all help and or advice.
Namaste;-)
