Subject: runtime and libraries not found or created

i have p7. i have tried to install it to another hdd, the same hdd, changed settings for saving, etc. whichever method i use, p7 comes up with the same message. runtime or libraries cannot be found or created.

it will finally open to victor 2 and i can pose it, but nothing else. loading content from zips fails, as rt and libs are not found. what is happening?

it's really getting very frustrating and i'm noit very happy about it. suggestions or solutions needed. thanks.

There have been (literally) hundreds of threads on this. Do a search for "missing library" and you should come up with a bunch.

nothing found concerning this problem. lots of posts showing work, but not a single one dealing with my problem.

LibraryPrefs.xml contains the paths Poser thinks it is supposed to use. If the actual paths don't match what's in there, you will have to correct that.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Your OS and Version could have some bearing. If you still have troubles, contact Support (Put Attn: John in the Subject of the Incident)

version p7 on win 7  x32 and x64 os' still will not work. put it on vista, seems to work okay. now all i have to do is figure out how to load different characters but it's in the doc file.

apparently p7 doesn't work on win 7 but for some unknown reason as every other program i have for xp/vista also works on win 7 32 and 64.

so other than win 7 os, i can just struggle along learning it.

issue seems to be resolved by using vista/xp.

Um, I have Poser 7 on my Windows 7 64bit system. Works fine.

No more data = no more help from us.

What is the path you think is being used? What is in LibraryPrefs.xml? Do you have UAC turned on?
