Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 21 6:06 am)
When I open it inside Poser 6 it loads really high up above the preview window viewing area. There are no parameter dials to move the prop around. I had to use the cameras to get it into viewing area. There is no way to turn it around on it's x or y axis that I can see, without doing it using a camera.
Here is the result I get when I load the image and do a quick draft render. Texture looks nothing like in the image displayed with the download.

heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi

Ok. It does work. But you have to load the obj file as a wavefront object and then go into the material room and play around with a new image map to get the texture to work. For some reason I can't get the actual lolliop texture to load as it looks in the texture folder. For some reason even when I load that, I get the texture showing as the display thumbnail from the shareCG site....the girl with the lollipop in her hand.

I imported the actual object file as a wavefront object. Which gives you parameter dials to fiddle with.
I took the texture into paint shop pro only to find that it was a layer on layer that was much smaller than the actual .png file that opened. I selected all to catch the actual texture layer and then cropped it down to size and resaved it as a .jpg file that was the size of the actual texture itself.
In the material room I created an image map node and connected the newly saved texture file. Then did a draft render. I don't have time, but there might be a way in the material room to adjust the placement of the candy texture so that it's more centred over the candy.
The texture loaded, but it didn't cover the whole candy portion.

Thanks. It's just a flattened sphere, and a cylinder. The sphere and cylinder meshes were made in UV Mapper, the rest was done in P6. The morphs were done with scaling and magnets. The texture was found on a free stock images site, and modified in PSP 5 to fit the UV Map.
Found the site with the lollipop picture, it's this one:

In Poser Pro 10, when this is loaded:
http://www.sharecg.com/v/49920/View/11/Poser/Lollipop
It comes out black in render, and when loaded as a prop there are no parameter dials. It cannot be moved or resized.
If the OBJ is imported, and the texture applied, it renders black, although in preview the texture (looks like a sucker) is visible.
Any ideas?
