Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 09 3:46 am)
I am so sorry I missed this before. A great deal of very useful information here. I hope others read this. Thank you all for the input. I'm learning, but slooooowly.
I like Alyson and Miki. You can do a lot with them right out of the box. I avoided Victoria for a long time. Her physiology and face were completely unimpressive. If you get the morphs++, it's a different story. But you have to pay for them.
Waiting for the new Poser Pro, to see if I can fit my medical outfits on the newer figures.
Thanks again.
nobodyinparticular
there's a weightmapped version of her in poser pro 2012 (out soon)
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
the default one looks ugly but she is very morphable.

If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.
3dream does make excelletn things...I love those faces!
when I get a few free minutes and finish my latest Antonia set, i will do some textures for Allison as well. Maybe a freebie or two and some retail stuff. :)

Nice...

Nice! Looks like a real woman! You, 3Dream and others have made me reconsider my former harsh assesment of Alyson. It appears that there are enough polygons in the head to allow some nice morphs. STOCK Alyson-and Ryan-look like Aliens (to me).
I have a working trial of Zbrush- (might buy it)-if I do I may have to try making some free morphs.
Quote - I reeeeeeeaaaaaaally wish that the Hair Conversion System and Texture Converter supported Alyson, it's so limiting without those two programs. At least WW in Poser8 works with her, though I keep messing things up and there's a few rips in the sweatpants.
But here's a render I did that tried to make her as different as I could without using the faceroom. I think I used a freebie face morph as a base and from there I randomly tweaked other settings to get a more unique shape and personality.
she looks like a real normal person.
Well done!

I've been working on and off, as time permits, on the texture for Alyson.
Her mapping is a little different but not to hard to work with.
All I need to do is the hand now and tweak it some, check for seams and then do some eyelashes and eye colors. May even incude a few make-up options. This will be a freebie.
Poser models will be getting a little more support from me now, less for Daz models, and I will continue my full support for Antonia Polygon and Apollo Maximus.

Were you able to do something about her short arms? They seem to be the only real drawback I found in using her. The face room and her morph dials are enough for me. But her arms are shorter than the G2 models, or even P6 Jessica...
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.
To make her arms longer you use the scale dials.
I just selected the shoulder and scaled the length to 108 and the forearm to 109 which puts the fingertips right below the hipline. The elbows at the bottom odf the ribcage.
This is using my own arms as an example to get an idea of how long they should be.
If you bend your arm and check the length of the forearm against the upper arm, you will see they are the same, or almost the same length. Most 3d models have a shorter upper arm for some reason.

The texture et I'm working on is nearing completion.
All I have to do is some tweaking, check seams and make the pz2 files. :)
As soon as she's ready I'll post here and let you all know. She will be a freebie.

She's free and has been uploaded to my CP store.

The site entry for Kami is totally wrecked. None of your images appear, and while I was able to "buy" the item, the download link is "404 Not Found". Better tell CP.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
I just checked it out with fireFox and Explorer browsers, it works now.
All image files are there and load correctly and the zip file is showing too.
May have been a glitch or hiccup that is cleared now.
Let me know if ther are any more problems.
BTW: I did the face morph as a pmd because for some reason I could not get a regular INJ to work.
I know it's probably me doing something wrong but I just don't know what...sigh.

Worked fine for me. The floor doesn't have perfect reflections because of the displacement and bump, but you can see the reflections are there, especially around the posts...
