@Camera Awesome opening shot and a great example!

@Blinkings This is a great panorama, love the low lighting

@Mario The reflection is definetly an illusion to the eye, I thought the cliff continued! Great lines.

Still working on my three :-) Didn't get many shot on Canada Day but these shots are getting my ideas flowing. Good job everyone!!

This is a couple of months old.. I will go out for a new one soon.  I believe the lines work.

A graveyard, no markers but one small eroded stone I saw.  The fence preserves the heritage and dignity of recognition that people are buried here.  Slaves and paid servants of local agricultural businesses found this a final home.

Another photo was likely posted a few months ago with different pov.

@Andrew  Great natural lines, a good eye to see this

@Tom  Definetly makes you think into a different time. Great historical tribute AND vertical lines with this shot

@Helle  I can picture you standing in the road for this shot! Die hard forum challenger. Great lines!

@Mies  I love the withered condition of the fence, good eye for these natural lines

@Bill  You always have beautiful airplane shots, heres another one with good lines

STILL working on my three! I think I have today off so I will try and get my camera clickn'!

Here is my post #1 for this. A vertical shot of my horizontal blinds -_-' CHEAT!! I will try and be more creative on my next two shots, but you must agree this cheat turned out pretty neat.

Thanks!

dochtersions ( ) posted Tue, 05 July 2011 at 2:16 AM

Hi Lashia, I don't know what the word 'scheat' means :), but I like the light on this vertical moved horizontal blinds, it gives a cozy effect /feeling.
You might wonder what's behind it, huh? LOL

Good morning friends!

This is a  sheepskin that hung to dry in the sun.
So it's not my hair, maybe I'd like to......? :)

helanker ( ) posted Tue, 05 July 2011 at 4:40 AM

Mies, two excellent verticals. They are great both of them.

TOM, a beautiful moody shot with nice verticals :-)

Bill! It is so well seen and such a nice shot too.

Lashia, I so like this shot with your blinds. Such a nice simplicity.

1000 Thanks, dear Mies. I used the same subject from another angle in another forum themed "circles". Now come from that place, today only macros.

Hugs , good day !

Lashia ( ) posted Wed, 06 July 2011 at 3:40 PM

Great shot, Mario, I love the low crop so the subject is more the water and not the building :-)

mariogiannecchini ( ) posted Wed, 06 July 2011 at 4:25 PM
