Subject: Egypt hair problem.

When I try making renders of V4 with the Egypt hair, a thin black line shows across her forehead.  The Poser forum says to adjust the transparency, but I can't figure out how to do that in Daz Studio.  Also, are they talking about the head's transparency or the hair's transparency?  And is there another way to fix it in DS?  Thanks.

If you upload an image that will be of great help. If you are referring to a scalp line left by the Hair's scalp texture or a fault in the alpha layer, then you can try this... Go to your surface tab and click on your models hair scalp, then scroll down till you find opacity listed in the surface panel. Slide the meter bar up or down till the line disappears. If this does not do the job, it may be an idea to show a image of the problem area. Another thing it may be is a shadow line, for this you may need to adjust the hair to sit back a little so it does not protrude from the forehead. Best I can do without seeing this fault.

Well, here's a couple of renders I made using the hair, if they do indeed help.  I'll try that opacity thing soon.

Not as noticible in the last one,- even when zoomed in- but yes.  I would love to show you all the rest of my works, but... I kinda just recently started learning how to use lights and shadows.  Thus, most of my renders will need a bit more editing than the second one.

Maybe you can have a look at these updates the V4. http://www.arrow3d.com/3Dream-HairUpdateV4.htm

^Thanks, but that's just the fix that makes the hair fit on V4's head.  I already have that.
