THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT: Important DRUG info

To those friends who do "recreational drugs": Beware (obviously). There is a new drug that is surfacing here that is hallucigenic, and also makes you lose your voice, as well as turns your skin pale. So please, beware of mime-altering drugs.

Supplimental to my earlier posts, I was only poking fun at a Public Service Announcement from my mispent youth.

I do not any way advocate or recommend the use of "recreational drugs".

Just wanted to be clear.

Latest craze is this salvia stuff, tons of people record themselves taking it, and look like iditos flaling around.  One guy even goes through a window pane.

tom271 ( ) posted Mon, 22 August 2011 at 10:00 PM

I saw some of these you tube experiments...  When you're young one believes nothing can happen to you...  It has becomes "kool", on you tube, to show your self acting like an fool,,

The last thing these young low self esteem kids think about,  is the possible damage that can occur durring the tripping that can stay with them for a long time after,,

I'm for legalizing drugs.. but not necessarily these drugs..  I'm also very strong on early drug education and prevention..

LOL i just only now youtubed "this is your brain on drugs" now i know why so many people had a laugh about it hahaha.

By the way, i would like to enter the thought that i know quite a few people who have experimented with a variety of mind altering substances. The big big difference between most dutch drug users and foreign drug users i talked to is that the dutch ones almost always know exactly what they're using, what its result can be, when to use it, when not to use it, how to surround yourself with the right vibe (quite important for some drugs).

In comparison, the foreigners i talked to spend much more of their time franticly trying out every new thing thats rumored to give u any kind of high, without really knowing what they're up against.

I think that is because overhere, we dont make rediculously overdramatized propaganda about drugs. We dont say they're harmless, but we are generally quite truthful about what kind of risks come with which kind of drugs. Then ofcourse the fact that those with low risk are semi-legalized reduces the need to franticly jump onto anything new not really knowing what it is.

I've also seen a warning about Viagra. If you have to use Viagra you must swallow it whole and NOT chew it.

Apparently, if you chew Viagra tablets there is a terrible side-effect that make you have stiff neck for days...........

Peyote, like others, contains DMT, which is made by the brain naturally. These so-called hallucinations are from the third eye being opened by the DMT. Even Ergot will do much the same thing. Ergot is where LSD is derived from.

The problem arrises when the taker is not prepared Spiritually, by rigorous practices and training beforehand.

Ergot is a mold that grows on Rye under certain moist conditions. All outbreaks of 'Witchcraft' have been traced to those places and times where Rye was grown and used, under those climatic conditions. The last such outbreak was in a village in France, in the 1950s. The French National Health Agency traced the outbreak of 'Witchcraft' to a single bag of Ergot contaminated Rye flour, unknowingly added by a single baker to a batch of dough, for Rye Bread. The superstitious villagers were claiming 'Witchcraft', and the investiagtion put and end to those claims.

Witchcraft were the accusations made, when all along it was the ergot contaminated rye flour that gave those people Very Bad Trips. When the little ice age happened, the Jews in Germany were blamed, and persecuted. I brought it up for historical reference and has nothing to do with the actual practice of such.

The point is that what we now know through science to be natural, the superstitious often blamed on the gods, devils, or whatever whipping boy was handy to persecute.
