Quote - Wait, who is this Diogenes?  I'm so confused!  :scared:

Is it the artist formerly known as phantom3d?

Edit: Ah, how I love the smell of cross post in the morning.

Hmm.  Interesting fellow, Diogenes the Cynic.  Maybe Brad should be re-named as Hercules, adopted hero of the Cynics!

Bit of a relief to know about the name change!  I thought Phantom3d had simply vanished altogether, which made me fear for the future of Brad, among other things.

Of course, I fear many things these days, what with Slender Man and all....  :scared:

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

LOL What a strange thing, two days ago I thought I should have a look and see what happened to Brad and phantom3d and first I was seriously concerned about him - until I looked up older postings.*

I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!

And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!

Are you ready for Antonia? Get her textures here:

Yes, I don't know what would be worse - brad never getting released or slender man taking cage away.

I'm gonna say... Brad not being released would be worse.  But now that you've validated my Slender Man paranoia, I'm going to go smear the Jell-o on the lineoleum and set the sofa on fire.  Sob.  :scared:

He's always just peeking out from behind things, just staring facelessly.  Sob.  Whimper.

yes cage he is.  But I don't think doing those things will help. He'll just peek out from behind something else.  Try to ignore him and maybe he'll go away (probably not likely now that he's discovered you though)

You can use the second skin for an entire second set of UVs as well :) I had another thread on the second skin idea but cannot find it, it seems to have vanished. Well anyway the info on the second skin is also in this thread. So if you want to switch UV maps it can be done this way. Now if I can just figure out how to get rid of that slight shadow.  Hmmm............

We Want Brad!!

Diogenes ( ) posted Tue, 06 September 2011 at 10:14 AM

Hi Steve.  Thanks for the support. :)

I am thinking if you wished you could have multiple sets of UVs this way. Brad is only 18396 polys and 18238 vertices. So lets say I wanted three separate sets of UVs. One for Brad the man, one for Brad the werewolf, and one for Brad the child.  Simple, just create your morphs of werewolf and child, UV them remove the morph and weld the resulting obj into the whole. Brad will still have 18238 vertices. But you now have three separate layers of materials and three separate UV maps to use.

High poly is easy, it is just a subdivided obj made from the low poly with a little touch up to the joints. So yes there will be high poly. It will be around 70K.

Perhaps different clothes, but the poses should be the same.

You'll have to see if PhilC cansupport him then.  Or will poser pro 2012 work out someauto clothing thingy?

I can't have him running around my runtime totally naked no matter how well he bends.

Also to be able to use him I will need texture sets.  I'm not good at making stuff.

Well you are going to have to learn Esther!  I am relying on you specifically to make things for him. If you dont, he is going to be running all around the beaches there in Austraila naked calling your name.  Esther...Esther.  :)

Well I have learned quite a bit lately about clothing construction, I will try to do something. PhilC might give him WW support, I will ask.

It would be great if he could wear my M4 clothes in some way otherwise I will probalby end up head transplanting him or something and that would not be cool and would spoil the whole point of himi really.
