Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 30 6:52 am)
When you import the object to Vue, don't move or resize it. In the hierarchy list (to the lower right), select all parts of the model that the image map is made to apply to (in case some portions of the model use different maps). With all the applicable pieces selected, move to the material editor (upper right) and select Edit Material. Near the top of the Material editor, select "Object Space" (or "object-Standard" in Vue 4). On the Color tab, select "Mapped Values". Use the Picture button to navigate to the image map. Repeat this step for Bump or Transparency if you have a bump or alpha map as well. (Good idea to give this material a unique name now in the top left of the material editor screen.) Close the Editor and render a preview of the object. How's it looking now? :)

I have created an obj file, in Rhino ran it through UV mapper and saved the model and map. When I import it into bryce the texture map I created works fine but when I import it to Vue no matter what mapping mode I use it doesnt apply the map properly. What am I doing wrong?
