Subject: In Search of Cool Headphones

FightingWolf ( ) posted Tue, 13 September 2011 at 3:26 AM · edited Tue, 19 November 2024 at 12:27 AM

I'm looking for some cool headphones for Poser.  I have found some at turbo squid but they are all in .obj format and most are very expensive.  I'm looking for the Big Headphones that people used to wear in the 70's, but with more of a modern style, big but modern.  I found two models on renderosity, but I'm hoping that someone knows of other places that may have them other than turbo squid.

Have you looked at ShareCG?

Object files can be imported into Poser.  Go to "File" and then "Import" and pick "Wavefront Object"

If you find .3ds Max files, those can also be imported.

If I remember correctly, I think you can get the headphones on the Marie Elite character somewhere in the DAZ3D store. I think that's what you might be looking for. It might be part of a hair product. I could be wrong, but maybe it give you a place to start looking.

.3ds files can be imported into poser? Does this mean the material will also be imported or will I need to correct the material after I import it?

I can't remember.  Try it and find out. The worse that will happen is that you will have to delete the object from the preview window.

.3ds files can be imported.    The .max file extensions can't be.
