Subject: Figure's eyes disappear

attilako ( ) posted Fri, 16 September 2011 at 3:16 AM · edited Thu, 25 July 2024 at 2:07 AM

All my poser characters have Eyes internal name: rightEye leftEye. But one figure has  lEye rEye internal names.

I edited the cr2 file and changed all the rEye to rightEye and lEye to leftEye, but then the eyes disappeared.

Is there any solution to this?

Thanks

Use the backup copy - you know, the one you made in case anything went wrong.

The internal names in the CR2 need to be the same as the group names in the OBJ file.  So if you want to change the internal names in the CR2 you you need to also change the corrisponding group names in the OBJ file as well.

That's right, I found the internal names in the OBJ file!

Thank you

Why would you want to rename them?

because when I insert the animation from the other figures with eyes moving then this special character's eyes will also move.
